Most Inspiring Participant Award

At one of their regular meetings before the April 2019 Golden Reunion, the Malvar Boys were discussing efforts to drum up participation at the event. It was noted with dismay how some batchmates were reluctant to participate despite the event happening for some in their own backyard. In stark contrast, Sandy Fameron was jumping through hoops, given his physical limitations and geographical location, just to attend the reunion. It was agreed that his efforts deserved to be recognized.

An appropriate name for the award was chosen and the citation was drafted before being proposed to the Organizing Committee. Approval was readily given, and it was agreed that it would be presented to him on Day 3 of the reunion activities.
